Getting the job photos onto the invoice before it sends
The invoice is the deadline. At the moment it queues, the before and after images already exist somewhere, usually in CompanyCam under a project, sometimes only in a camera roll because the upload died on a rural signal and never retried. Selection is the whole job: which two of forty images belong on a document a customer will read, with tags as the only available signal. In the CompanyCam API a tag list means a separate request per photo rather than a field on the list response, so batch size decides the design.
The technician photographs the nameplate, then types the model and serial from that photo, usually somewhere with bad light and worse signal.
A field services business is judged on the gap between a customer calling and a technician arriving with the right part. Most of the repeated office work exists to close that gap: booking, dispatching, looking up whether a unit is still under warranty, and finding out what the last technician did.

When this is the wrong thing to build
Pick something else if your technicians already attach photos inside the same app that raises the invoice and the attachment rate is not the problem. Automating collection when the real gap is that nobody photographs the equipment at all gives you a tidier pipeline feeding an empty bucket.
The constraint that shapes it
Licensing is issued by state and often by municipality, per trade, which means not every technician can legally perform every job in every jurisdiction. More on how this sector works.
A deadline arrives. The bundle builds itself from what is already there. Read what this shape is, or start from one of these.
- Building a commission disbursement authorization at closing
- Drafting a seller net sheet from a payoff statement
- Building a demand package the adjuster can actually open
- Filling a mandatory form set from the matter record
- Drafting the disbursement statement behind a settlement payment
- Building the month end binder from the ledger
