Building the pre adverse action packet from the report
A pre adverse notice is a packet rather than a letter. It carries the notice, a copy of the consumer report and the current summary of consumer rights, and that summary was reissued by the bureau, so a template holding the superseded version is defective on its face. A waiting window then runs, described as reasonable rather than counted out in the statute, and several cities add an individualised assessment and a duty to hold the role open. The adjudication stays a named determination, retained, because that is the part read back later.
The parser reads the resume, then somebody corrects the employment dates it merged, which is most of the time it was supposed to save.
Resumes arrive in every format that has ever existed, including scans with no text layer and designed templates in two columns that get read in the wrong order. Parsing is nearly always a third-party component, and its characteristic failure is employment history: dates written as ranges with words in them produce merged employers and wrong tenure.

When this is the wrong thing to build
Pick something else if you never adjudicate and pass reports to the client to decide. The sequence follows whoever took the action, and building it on your side can hand you an obligation that was not yours. Sort out who the decision maker is before automating anything around it.
The constraint that shapes it
This is the sector where the boundary is sharpest, and it is worth stating plainly: rejection is the regulated act, not enrichment. More on how this sector works.
A deadline arrives. The bundle builds itself from what is already there. Read what this shape is, or start from one of these.
- Building a commission disbursement authorization at closing
- Drafting a seller net sheet from a payoff statement
- Building a demand package the adjuster can actually open
- Filling a mandatory form set from the matter record
- Drafting the disbursement statement behind a settlement payment
- Getting the job photos onto the invoice before it sends
- What has to go inside a pre adverse action notice?
- Which version of the summary of consumer rights is current?
- How long do I wait between the pre adverse and final notices?
- Who adjudicates a background report when the client makes the hiring decision?
- Can Checkr adjudication states drive the notices we have to send?
